SVOFFICE™5 was recently updated with the following improvements, changes and bug fixes. We strongly recommend that you update your software to the most current version.

  • NEW: SVSOILS™ will now import materials from a standard gINT database.
  • NEW: SVSOILS™ can search materials by GIS location within the United States.
  • NEW: SVSOILS™ Zapata (ASU) database of over 35,000 unsaturated soils from across the United States. Searchable by geo-location.
  • NEW: SVSLOPE® Automatic critical sliding direction determination added to Orientation Analysis, which reduces solution times.
  • NEW: SVSLOPE® 3D probability analysis added (previously a 2D feature).
  • NEW: SVSLOPE® 3D sensitivity analysis added (previously a 2D feature).
  • NEW: SVSLOPE® 2D Newmark advanced seismic analysis.
  • NEW: SVSLOPE® 3D Hybrid Ellipsoid feature added allowing further control of the ellipsoid shape and thus improved FOS results.
  • NEW: SVFLUX™ GT global water balance calculations added.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Theory manuals now installed with SVOFFICE™ in PDF format.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Updated the shear strength model, Anisotropic Function, in SVSLOPE®.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Meshing around tunnel objects in SVFLUX™ GT improved.
  • IMPROVEMENT: Further improvements done to slicing algorithms when creating a 2D model from a 3D model.
  • IMPROVEMENT: ambiguity in how the sign of angle of anisotropy (alpha) is defined
  • FIX: DXF export fixes for some situations.
  • FIX: Laboratory Data button was missing on SWCC dialog.
  • FIX: The SVOFFICE™ Manager was not launching the error log file after import operations if the users computer was not configured to automatically load .log files.
